We live in Connecticut and planning to move to LV. This is a real concern to our family because we have 2 small children. We love our raw milk here. Has anything changed in NV since this post?

I have to keep driving to CA to get it. Very annoying. The politicians should read dangers of pasteurized milk products with synthetic ingredients. They fortify with artificial Calcium and Vit D. To take calcium without magnesium is very dangerous and causes body calcification, heart attacks and strokes. Do they care about that?! Raw milk is complete!!! It is one of the superfoods just like grass fed eggs. I don’t even drink pasteurized milk. It’s disgusting and has no taste.

Our state needs to catch up with states like California and Utah to legalize the sale of raw milk, with appropriate safety oversight.

The bill that passed the Senate, and that was vetoed by Gov. Sandoval, was flawed because it restricted competition between producers of raw milk. Restricting competition drives prices up for consumers, never a good thing.

My guess is that if a similar raw milk bill, without the anti-competitive provision of the 2013 bill, were to be voted on in the current 2015 legislative session, it would be approved and signed by Gov. Sandoval.

Contact your elected official and ask them to make this happen, for the health of Nevadans.
