My Grandfather was the Dr. (Gerald Elsworth McDonnel, M.D.) at the Walker Gorden Dairy that certified that every worker was healthy every day. They sent the milk (which was from grass, & hay, and appropriate concentrates fed Jersey cows,) to hospitals in Philadelphia and New York. (The Milk Cure)… As the push for Pasteurization (which was a political move) put more pressure on Doctors to renounce what they knew to be true, and the Medical School books were “written” to teach against Raw Milk, my Grandfather tried to “talk sense” to them. Then he feared for his life. He told my Grandmother to get his affairs in order. And what often happens to those who oppose big money pushes happened to him. He was quickly killed in a freak accident caused by an employee of a brewing company who would benefit if cows were fed brewery sludge, kept in confinement, and the milk forced to be Homogenized and Pasteurized at a central Processing site…. bingo, and that murderer “disappeared.”
When a study is done on the importance and necessity of balanced long C Chain Fats (found in raw Milk before H & P destroys them) then Raw milk will be an important source. No money and no mention of this will be allocated until “common sense” overcomes Political / Big Money silencing of the truth.

Consumption of raw milk can be dangerous. In states that allow the sale of raw milk direct to consumes there are outbreaks and sickness. The U.S. Center for Disease Control, (CDC) disagrees with Mr. Heckman’s position.

These include the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Public Health Association, the U.S. Animal Health Association, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Environmental Health Association, the International Association for Food Protection, the National Mastitis Council, many European countries and most recently the American Farm Bureau. Academia institutions renowned animal agricultural programs like New York’s Cornell University have issued strong warnings about the dangers of consuming raw milk.
