I support legalizing regulated raw milk and milk products in Canada. Pasteurized milk products and processed foods are proven to be a greater risk. Just this week a pasteurized milk recall was issued in Ontario and Quebec. A June 8, 2016 news story reads: “Saputo expands Neilson brand chocolate milk recall over Listeria concerns”.

As Ted Beals, MS, MD, a physician and board certified pathologist, said in “THOSE PATHOGENS, WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW”:

“Listeria monocytogenes is present as well in our homes and on our bodies.

The public ingests listeria on a regular basis without becoming ill. You must ingest huge numbers of a virulent strain of Listeria monocytogenes to cause gastroenteritis.

…The most serious public health risk due to Listeria monocytogenes, comes from contaminated ready-to eat processed foods, particularly meats.”

I do agree if the Queen of England can drink raw milk with no side affects than so can the rest of us
