I haven’t read the Milk Diet myself but that does sound extreme. Perhaps it depends on how ill you are, whether such total rest is necessary. Certainly we hear from people all the time whose health improves by adding raw milk to the diet. Some (including Sally Fallon Morell) also will occasionally do a milk fast for a couple of weeks while going about their normal activities. Your grass-fed source sounds great! You may have to experiment with adding it to your diet, gradually at first if you are not used to it, and maybe working up to brief fasts where you only take the milk. With additional rest whenever you can, if it seems like something your body needs. Good luck!

When I was pregnant and nursing, I never lost the weight until I stopped nursing. It dropped off without effort after that. So glad you are nursing, it is so important for your baby’s health.

I have read The Milk Diet Book and laying in bed for 2-3 months, not moving but to lift the milk glass and only being able to read 15 minutes out of the hour seems impossible. Also, the only raw milk I can obtain is grass-fed (no grains, non-GMO, no hormones, no anti-biotics) Jersey cows. Their milk is excellent and I have been to the farm and the cows are outside grazing all day. Since I cannot follow it to a “T” is it a waste of time? Or will just adding raw milk to the diet help?

I too cannot drink A1 milk as it gives me major digestive issues, but A2 I can drink like water as well. It’s remarkable!

I have Ulcerative Colitis. I’ve been drinking A2 grassfed pasterized milk as Canada does not allow the same of raw milk. The increase in milk has helped my immensely.

Sally Fallon Morell says : I have not had any feedback on this, but it should be. The components of raw whole milk can help normalize gut flora.

I never use pharmaceuticals so when I stumbled upon the suppressed Raw Milk Cure study from almost 100 years ago, I gave it a try. I drank RAW grass-grazed milk for breakfast and lunch and had a sensible dinner (at the time I was NOT exercising). I cut sugar from my diet considerably but not totally. Within a few months I was no longer pre-diabetic and after 6 months went by, I was no longer even close to being diabetic.

Flash is better than ultra but still not good enough. It must be RAW grass-grazed milk. If it is organic and in a glass bottle, that is even better. Do your due diligence on your milk as some companies feed their cows grass and grains which is a no-no.
